Happy Howl-oween! It’s almost time for this year’s Halloween Mystery quilt along and stitch along! We’re bringing you another FREE quilt and cross stitch pattern and video series. This one is called the Haunted Halloween Mystery Quilt and Stitch Along, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you. It’s a good time to start stitching something for the spooky season. Join us in sewing along to uncover this mystery!
Here’s a peek at the first block, but the rest is a mystery…. The Haunted Halloween Quilt would make a cute banner or tabletopper since it finishes at 31.5” x 32.5”. We are sewing ours in Owl-O-Ween by Urban Chiks for Moda Fabrics. If you’d like to sew a spooky version like ours, you can pick up your Haunted Halloween Quilt Kit now, which includes fabric for the top, binding, and backing! You can also use the fabric requirements linked below with your favorite Halloween fabrics.
The Haunted Halloween Cross Stitch measures 109w x 109h, finishing as a 7.875” square when stitched on 14 count Aida! If you’re working with a different cloth, try using our free Cross Stitch Calculator to find your desired size.
The floss and cloth you choose are up to you, but we stitched ours with the Classic Colorworks Thread Pack on Pistachio 14 Count Aida by Fiber on a Whim. Some other seasonal spooky supplies we’d recommend include the Pumpkin Enamel Needle Minder, Ghostly Enamel Keychain, and the Pumpkin Mad for Plaid Project bag.

I Did the Bats & Boos, it was so much fun. Who doesn’t love a mystery? I used my own fabrics and love the wall hanging. I bought the kit this time. Can’t wait to see the finished Quilt.
