 Kimberly Jolly is the founder and owner of Fat Quarter Shop and It’s Sew Emma. FQS started in 2003 as a side hobby for Kimberly. She was working as an accountant full time, while cutting, packing, and shipping right out of her home during nights and weekends. As Fat Quarter Shop’s reputation grew, she decided to pursue it full time! (Her husband, Kevin, joined her not long after). The rest is history! |

 It’s Sew Emma® began as a dream for Kimberly. As an avid quilter, she has seen hundreds of quilt patterns over the years, some great and some not so great. In 2011, Kimberly decided to gather a team of creative friends and began creating great patterns that are exclusive to Fat Quarter Shop and have well written step-by-step instructions that are practically fool-proof! It’s Sew Emma also publishes our own books such as Triangles on a Roll Quilts and Fat Quarter Style and as well as books of other quilt designers such as Lori Holt, Edyta Sitar and Carrie Nelson. |
