We’re Wrapping Up the Boo Crew Mystery Halloween Quilt and Stitch Along

Boo Crew Halloween Mystery Quilt

If you’ve been with us for all of the Boo Crew Quilt Along, then you’ll be familiar with us using Bella Solids Sugar Plum by Moda Fabrics for the Mystery Boo Crew Quilt background. You’ll need a little more of it or the background that you’ve chosen to finish things off!

We wrapped up our Mystery Boo Crew Quilt by binding and backing it with Too Cute to Spook by Me & My Sister Designs for Moda Fabrics. The all-over spider design on the quilting by Gina Tell of Thread Graffiti really pulls it together, don’t you think?

All the details are in the Mystery Boo Crew Quilt Along Finishing Video below.

Since we’re just batty for Halloween, we have a bonus quilt pattern for you!

The Bat Crew Quilt is based on our Bats & Boos Mystery Quilt Along Pattern from last year! The quilt measures 34.5” square and you can make it with your favorite Halloween collection.

This Bat Crew Quilt was quilted by longarmer Sarah Campbell of Stitch Mode Quilts.

If you missed the quilt along, you can find the free patterns and tutorial on the Boo Crew Mystery Quilt and Stitch Along blog post.

Boo Crew Halloween Mystery Cross Stitch

We finished the Mystery Boo Crew Cross Stitch with Pumpkin Large Vintage Trim by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet on the White Beveled Beaded Wood Wall Decor (SKU# 1933886) from Hobby Lobby.

To finish your piece like ours follow our tutorial in the Mystery Boo Crew Cross Stitch Reveal video on Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube.

This is just one idea, though. You can finish your Mystery Boo Crew Cross Stitch any way you want! In fact, we have seen a lot of cute ones on Instagram under the #BooCrewSAL hashtag!

Speaking of finishes, Kimberly stitched a smaller version of the pattern and changed up her colors. She stitched on 14ct Spooky Hallow Lighter by Fabric Flair with the called for Classic Colorworks and by changing Mulled Berries to Colonial Copper. A simple black frame complements the design.

Kimberly's Finished Boo Crew Cross Stitch on different fabric and with different colors. Cross Stitch Finished in dark wooden frame.

  1. My name is Giuliana and I’m Brazilian. I discovered this blog a few months ago and consider myself a number one fan of her quilt and cross stitch posts. Unfortunately the store does not ship to Brazil. So I only buy the patterns in PDF. Here in Brazil, I make the adequacy of supplies, except for the DMC skeins. I’m extremely grateful for everything you do, kimberly. With love, Giuliana.
