Our passion for crafting with Jelly Rolls knows no bounds. National Sew a Jelly Roll Day allows us to dive into our cherished precuts while pushing our creative boundaries, making it the perfect time to start our Jelly Roll-themed sew along!
For those who might not be aware, Moda Fabrics has formally designated the third Saturday of September as the official National Sew a Jelly Roll Day! If you’ve ever found yourself hesitating to unfurl a bundle of those 2.5″ fabric strips that have been hiding away, well, look no further – this is the day you’ve been waiting for to unroll something new!

Grab a Jelly Roll and join us on Saturday, September 16 at 2 PM CT for Sew a Jelly Roll Day! You read that right – our first-ever Saturday Livestream! Kimberly will host a trunk show for Simply Jelly Rolls Quilt Book and a live tutorial of Block 1 to get the Simply Jelly Rolls Quilt Along started.

This quilt along, running from September 16 to October 27, 2023, celebrates the beauty of Jelly Rolls and features blocks from the Simply Jelly Rolls book. The result? A stunning row quilt that will make your quilting heart sing!

Thank you for leading this sew-along. Each quilt in the book series is so inviting and easy that I find it hard to go at the scheduled pace, I want to jump ahead and have two or three projects in the works at the same time.
Wow I finally found you! I was with you on Sept. 16th and made the first blocks and got my book but couldn’t find you for the next blocks. Now I can catch up! Thank you for doing this QAL. I can’t wait to see my quilt finished.
