We were hoping for a Christmas in July, but Santa has been delayed! It looks like September is the month we’ll get started on the Christmastime Quilt Along and Stitch Along. As soon as the fabric elves deliver, we’ll announce the dates, so stay tuned!
Do you hear what I hear? Sleigh bells are jingling and, for us, Christmastime is here. We’re bringing you Christmas in July with another FREE quilt and cross stitch pattern and video series, the Christmastime Mystery Quilt and Stitch Along, to get in the holiday spirit.
The quilt finishes at 23.5″ x 27.5″ and we are sewing ours using Christmas Stitched by Fig Tree for Moda Fabrics. If you want to sew a very merry version like ours, you can reserve your Christmastime Mystery Sew Along Quilt Kit now, which includes fabric for the top, binding, and pieced backing!
The Christmastime Mystery Cross Stitch measures 105w x 95h, finishing at 7.5” x 6.875” when stitched on 14 count Aida! If you want to use a different cloth, try using our free Cross Stitch Calculator to find the size you need.
‘Tis nearly the season! As we count the days until this mystery Quilt and Stitch Along starts we will keep you updated through email, social media, and here on the blog on when our dates are final! For now, get prepared to the best of your ability by gathering sewing and stitching supplies from the Christmastime Mystery supplies page, and reserve your Christmastime Mystery Sew Along Quilt Kit now!

I found the requirements for the Stitch a long but not for the Quilt along. Where can I find the fabric requirements?
I’m also looking for the QAL requirements for the Christmas QAL

We have not released the fabric requirements yet. They will be in the blog post that kicks off the Quilt and Stitch Along and that post is coming soon. Keep an eye on the blog in the coming weeks for that!

The blog post to start everything off is coming soon, so keep an eye out for that. You can go to the supplies page which is linked above to start picking up everything you need and you can share the badge from the post above on socials (if you use them) to say you’re planning to join us.

Hi Alicia that is all dependent on supply chain issues and when fabrics get to us. We are doing everything we can to get things to you quickly.
You can sign up to be notified when they are in stock and if you’ve ordered one then you can always check your account to see if it has shipped.
Keep an eye out for the kick-off post. It will include updates and we will do our best to make sure everyone has a chance to get their supplies before everything starts! Hope this helps.
I am interested in the stitch along for boo and christmastime but I am not on instagram. Is there another way to get the free charts
If I have to I will try to get instagram on my phone.

The free patterns will be shared here on the blog. The Instagram posts are for people who want to share that they are planning to participate. You do not need social media to stitch or sew along! Everyone will get access to the patterns as they release in a blog post coming soon.
Just make sure you are subscribed to the blog or check back in regularly and look out for the official Boo Crew and Christmastime posts (this one is just an announcement that it’s coming soon).
