Join us for the Support Group Quilt Along and Stitch Along designed by Lori Holt. Sew along with us this October as we show our support through stitching these incredible and symbolic patterns.
Support breast cancer survivors by donating and joining us in the Support Group Quilt and Cross Stitch Alongs. Lori Holt’s designs honor her mother, who survived breast cancer, with literal symbols of support, and we think they couldn’t be cuter! Read on to learn more about the charity we’re supporting and the details of the quilt and stitch along.

Supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation
We are giving breast cancer awareness a strong push with the Support Group Stitch and Quilt Along. The Support Group cross stitch and quilt pattern by Lori Holt are a sweet nod to how good undergarments are like good friends – we show up during hard times to uplift and support each other! Take the plunge with us into this sew along to give breast cancer awareness the full coverage it needs.
Update on November 4, 2022: We are incredibly excited to announce that through our fundraising efforts for NBCF with ByAnnie’s SewPink initiative, Lori Holt’s Support Group, and Gina Tell’s quilt auction, we have raised $23,208!
We encourage you to donate $15 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation by October 31. Fat Quarter Shop and designer Lori Holt will match up to $5,000 of the donations raised. Together, we can reach our goal of $20,000 to help women at every step of the breast cancer journey. Check out our donation page and keep an eye out for the charity quilt auction coming after the quilt along wraps up.

I would love to sew along with you, but I just had some major surgery at the end of September and don’t know how well it will go for me. I am “off” doing any type of chores for 2 more weeks and don’t even get my staples out until next week. Can I still sign up and see how it goes. I could at least cut my fabrics out…I may have to start sewing after the first of the year if I can’t hack it now…wish me luck.

There is no “sign up”. You just get the pattern and follow along either with the schedule or at your own pace.
Hi Sandra! Liz is correct that since there is no sign up, you can absolutely work at your own pace! If you don’t get to finish it with us, you can always still share yours when you do work on it and get it finished!
We love to see your makes, even if it’s on a different schedule than our quilt along!
Thank you so much for raising money for breast cancer. This is near to my heart. My mother-in-law died of breast cancer in 1982. Unfortunately, I never got to meet her, and I’ve always been sad that our children never knew her. From stories that I’ve heard, she was a wonderful, humble lady. My eldest sister is currently battling breast cancer. Thank you again~Tina Fulbright
I would have loved to see a-long. Most of the charity quilts are free patterns. Not all can buy the patterns.
