Another week, another block! It’s time for the second Sewcialites 2 block release. We’re celebrating our quilting community with a free block of the week quilt along called the Sewcialites 2 Quilt Along. We’ve joined forces with 24 talented designers to bring you all-new, unique sampler blocks! If you’re just joining us, you can find all of the details over on the Sewcialites 2 Landing Page.
This week’s designer, Susan Ache (@yardgrl60), is a quilt book author and cross stitch designer. She designed the Tussy Mussy block, a patchwork flower design. She shared this about her block design, “Most people call it the nose gay, I prefer “tussy mussy”. This block always just looks like an ice cream cone of flowers or a fun party favor and who doesn’t like either one of those?”

We’ve sewn the Tussy Mussy block with different collections in all three size options. The 3″ block is sewn with Nutmeg by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics, the 6″ block in Dwell by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics, and the 9″ block using Cinnamon & Cream by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.

In todays video (10/28/2022) you showed the prairie flower bed runner and said it was free on Riley blake website, i cant find it at Riley blake or Lori holt. Is there a link for it. I bought the seed packets from you and want to make the runner., Thanks
