We’re celebrating our quilting community with a free block of the week quilt along called the Sewcialites 2 Quilt Along. This week’s designer, Beverly McCullough, is known by many as Flamingo Toes (@flamingotoes), and she is a fabric designer, quilter, and cross stitcher. Beverly loves all things crafty and DIY. She designed the Perennial block, our first Sewcialites 2 release, inspired by her love for flowers. She said, “I don’t have a green thumb – it makes me crazy that I can’t seem to keep them alive! So I love to sew up flower blocks instead – they’re still pretty but you don’t have to maintain them!”

We’ve sewn the Perennial block with different collections in all three size options. The 3″ block is sewn with Nutmeg by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics, the 6″ block in Dwell by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics, and the 9″ block using Cinnamon & Cream by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.

I watched the livestream and followed along with Kimberly this morning… so fun! I found the directions a bit confusing in terms of what to do with the 2 (4) pieces F and G. But it all worked out in the end!
Where’s the pattern? I can’t seem to find it.

This the first time I have done a sew along. Missed the You Tube live for first block, now can’t find the replay. Can anyone help me?
Pam- In case you haven’t found the replay – scroll up this page, in the second sentence above “Ready to Chat?” you will see the words “Fat Quarter Shops YouTube Channel.” Click on it and it will take you to their YouTube page. The replay is at the top of the page on the left side. I think this will be a fun sew along.
