We’re back for Week 5 of the Perfect 5 Quilt Along for the Perfect 5 Quilts Book by It’s Sew Emma! This book is a celebration of one of our favorite precuts, the 5″ Charm Pack. Our Perfect 5 Sampler Quilt is a taste of all the quilts, as blocks from all 16 quilts are included.
We’ve been sewing two blocks every Wednesday from October 9 to December 4, and we have a fun lineup of bloggers who will be sharing their blocks (and other Perfect 5 inspired projects) with us during the event!

We have the full Perfect 5 Fabric Requirements HERE for you to use and pick out your fabrics for the Quilt Along. You will also need the Perfect 5 Quilts book and Perfect 5 Ruler to help you complete the sampler quilt.
This week we’re on the fifth set of blocks listed in the book, Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal Raisin with Samelia’s Mum.
Anorina of Samelia’s Mum pieced her Oatmeal blocks for a vintage feel in Granny Chic by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs.
She even sewed her blocks into a cozy pillow! You’ll want to visit Samelia’s Mum’s blog to see how she did it!

I’m enjoying this QAL with its variety of blocks. Is it possible that the Chocolate Chip cutting chart has a typo? “Make four” is written for the block but only 6 charms are listed. Should it be 8 charms required? Thank you for considering my questions.
