Give Your Machine a Little TLC
A happy sewing machine is a clean sewing machine! Today is the perfect day to give your machine the care it deserves. Dust, lint, and thread buildup are all part of a busy sewing life, but regular cleaning can help keep your machine stitching smoothly.
We recommend:
- Changing your needle
- Vacuum out the lint from the bobbin area
- Cleaning around the feed dogs
- Wiping down your machine’s exterior

Thanks for hosting the giveaway. So fun.
I tried learning to sew many times over the years but I got frustrated and gave up each time. I decided to try quilting after watching Kimberly on YouTube and bought the Ultimate Beginner quilt kit. The tutorial and the project were laid out perfectly for me. I couldn’t believe my quilt actually came together. I use it every day. That was all the encouragement I needed to keep going.
Bummer, I’m boating in British Columbia this summer and unable to take my machine with me. But I am doing some of your cross stitch alongs while boating. Just can’t share any of my quilted projects I’ve made via QALs with FQS. One is actually on our boat and we love it!
