Cut half square triangle units with the help of the Half Square Triangle Helper! This little blue tool by Fat Quarter Shop measures 1/2″ wide and features center slots to be placed along the diagonal of squares up to 6.25″ square for half square triangle units up to 5.25″ square. Trace along the outer edges and center slots to mark cutting and sewing lines according to the instructions. Sadly, many people in the Louisville, KY area are still waiting on their Liberty Box despite being in Louisville since June 11 according to tracking.
Mine was finally delivered today.

I’d love to get my Liberty Box delivered. I live in south of Louisville and my box has been in Louisville since June 11. Two days to get from Texas to Louisville and now over 5 days to go another 50 miles.
I also live in Louisville,Ky and haven’t received my box. I did get the finishing kit today. Unfortunately that’s no good without the box.
My box has also been at the distribution center since June 11.
I know of at least four other people in my area that are still waiting for their box and I’m sure there are more than the four of us.
I wish the liberty box would have had something commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, overall I was a little disappointed, the fat quarter are beautiful. That was the only standout for this year’s box.

I absolutely love this box and already got started on it ! I love all the goodies -all very usable ! I am glad that FQS is curating the boxes with tools – we can always use more tools to make our blocks better ! This is my 3rd Liberty box and I have gotten all the specialty boxes the last few years – they never disappoint me
FQS, you hit it out of the ball park. I absolutely loved this year’s Liberty box. Actually the word “thrilled” would better describe it. Out of the four specialty boxes, Liberty is #1, Christmas #2, then Cupid #3. I don’t do Halloween. Thank you once again FQS. You never disappoint.
I love my Liberty box. I have been eyeing the bookends for a bit. Thank you FQS for this great item. I enjoy the patriotic quilts and hope to make the enclosed fabric into a quilt of valor.
Of all the mystery boxes, the Liberty box is the best. This year’s is outstanding. I love everything that was in it. From the fabric to the bookends to the pattern, you have done an amazing job. I hope to continue buying the Liberty box in future years. The finishing kit arrived yesterday. I can’t wait to make the quilt using the fabric.
