Greetings, friends! This year’s Bountiful Charity Quilt Along is almost finished – what an accomplishment! We’re ready to wrap things up with the backing pattern, and look forward to seeing all your completed quilts soon. Be sure to read to the end of the post for our sixth Bountiful Charity Cross Stitch release and information about this year’s charity quilt raffle!
The sixth and final pattern release is the Bountiful Backing Pattern! We’re sewing with the Sunwashed collection by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics. If you’re joining us late or sewing on your own, you can find all the patterns and fabric requirements on the announcement post.
This Year’s Quilt Raffle for Charity
By popular request, this year’s charity quilts (5 in all) will be raffled off to benefit Make-a-Wish! This special raffle gives so many quilt fans the chance to win a quilt (spending $10 per ticket vs bidding hundreds of dollars in a quilt auction). Raffle tickets will be $10 each, and you’ll have the chance to buy raffle tickets for your favorite quilt or quilts.
We are grateful to Corey Yoder, Lisa Bongean, Pat Sloan and Robin Pickens for joining Kimberly Jolly in donating their Bountiful quilts for the raffle! The dates of the charity quilt raffle will be September 14 – 23, so stay tuned to the blog for updates on it!
