Two Color Quilt Sew Along: Completed Quilts

The Two Color Quilt Sew Along comes to an end today! It’s been fun to see your creations, and we’re so proud of our newly-finished quilts.

The Two Color Quilt Sew Along was a spin-off of the Vintage Christmas Sew Along we did with Lori Holt (of Bee in my Bonnet) on the blocks in her Vintage Christmas Book. This year, we created a sampler quilt with Lori’s block to make the Two Color Quilt, hence the Two Color Quilt Sew Along! It’s been surprisingly fun to work with this monochromatic fabric set!

Kimberly made her Two Color Quilt in denim, and we have a Denim Two Color Sew Along Quilt Kit and matching Backing Set to make your own denim quilt. The Two Color Quilt can also be made in other colorways, such as aqua, pink, sea glass, green, red, nutmeg, yellow, or any other color. This quilt is perfect to display year-round!

The Completed Quilts

We used the free cutting instructions found in our blog posts, along with Lori Holt’s  Vintage Christmas Quilt Book to sew our versions of the Two Color Quilts. These quilts use Confetti Cotton Solids by Riley Blake Designs and Pin Dots and Bake Sale 2 by Lori Holt.

Thanks for joining us!

  1. I like the 2 colors quilts using 1 pattern. I will try that on my pattern. Thanks

  2. All of these quilts are so well done and incredibly pretty.
I just adore your creativity and inspiration. Thank you FQS

  3. Was there ever a video on YouTube with the finished quilts? I’d love to see them. I just finished my top in gray and I love it. I have to wait until October for a longarm appointment.
