We’re so excited it’s time to kick off the Simply Stars Quilt Along. This half yard-friendly quilt along to celebrate Simply Half Yards will be five weeks and starts today. More details, including the schedule, can be found below. We hope you’re excited to start sewing along with us!
About the Simply Stars Quilt
The Simply Stars Quilt finishes at 64.5″ Square and is made up of quilt blocks from the Simply Half Yards book. Sew along with us as we make our favorite half yard fabrics the stars of the show with the Simply Stars Quilt Along.
Quilt Along Supplies
The most important supply to get your hands on is Simply Half Yards by It’s Sew Emma, our love letter to half yard cuts. The quilts found in this book include patterns in sizes from Lap to Queen and everything in between! The sew along is inspired by the 16 quilt designs in Simply Half Yards. From simple to complex and traditional to modern quilt ideas, there is something for everyone, and the possibilities are endless.
In addition to a copy of Simply Half Yards grab your favorite Half Yard Bundle and download the Simply Stars Fabric Requirements! Kimberly will be sewing her Simply Stars Quilt with Cinnamon & Cream by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.

Have plans changed? Did not see anything on the Simply Starts QAL on the livestream. Blog says “Be sure to subscribe to our Fat Quarter Shop YouTube Channel and check out our Friday Livestreams to stay up to date on Kimberly’s Simply Stars quilting.” Maybe because this Friday was pre-recorded??

As of right now, there won’t be a dedicated Simply Stars livestream. What was meant in the blog is in livestreams where she updated on her quilting and WIPs you can see her progress.
