We’re celebrating our quilting community with a free block of the week quilt along called the Sewcialites Quilt Along. We’ve joined forces with 18 talented designers to bring you a free 38-week quilt along with amazing sampler blocks and sew many options! This week’s designer, Lisa Bongean is a longtime quilter and is the designer behind Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics. Lisa designed Honor, a Log Cabin block in three sizes. Don’t worry if you are a beginner, Kimberly can help you sew this block in today’s video tutorial on YouTube.
Lisa sewed up her 9″ Honor block from her collection, Urban Farmhouse Gatherings, and Urban Farmhouse Gatherings II, which is being released in April 2021!! She sewed up her 3″ block with Bella Solids. Lisa heavily starched her blocks for accurate cutting and piecing on both blocks, and made sure to press her seams open. When I printed #20 Honor Block my printer did not print the second page. Has anyone else had this problem?
