You’ve been asking… and we’re finally ready to share! Sewcialites 3 is officially starting in February 2026, and simplicity has never been sweeter! Whether you decide to make yours with the 3″, 6″, or 9″ block instructions, the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along will be simply the best quilt along to join in the new year!

Three New Fabric Collections
We’re sew excited to be featuring three beautiful fabric collections for the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along from Moda Fabrics designers:
- Wild Honey by Lella Boutique arriving November 2025
- Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs arriving January 2026
- Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts arriving January 2026
As always, you’ll be able to sew along with the 3″, 6″, or 9″ sized blocks. If you want to start prepping for Sewcialites 3 early, here is our suggestion for what to grab based on the size of blocks you plan to make:
- 3″ Blocks- Grab one Layer Cake
- 6″ Blocks- Go with a Fat Eighth Bundle
- 9″ Blocks- You’ll want a Fat Quarter Bundle on hand

This year, Kimberly is joined by Gina Tell and Pat Sloan in the quilty fun! Kimberly will sew the 6″ blocks using Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs, Gina Tell will make the 3″ blocks in Wild Honey by Lella Boutique, and Pat Sloan will do the 9″ blocks with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts. We’re so excited to see what you end up sewing!
That’s all we can reveal for now, but stay tuned for all the details coming to the Jolly Jabber Blog this fall.
Happy quilting, and let the countdown begin!

Hooray! I am very excited. And thank you for not starting at the same time as Moda blockheads!!
Can we use fabric from our stash?
Absolutely! We can’t wait to see what y’all make!
I’ve never done a Sewcialites sew along but considering it now. Love the fabric collections.
Whoo hoo! Can’t wait to add the next Sewcialites project to the collection. Thanks FQTeam!
I am so excited for this new Sewcialite project,
This sounds very exciting but have a few questions
Is there a book/pattern to order
Has anyone made a quilt before and mixed the various block sizes
If you want more info you can watch the Friday stream on Youtube. I think she said that you can pay to get access to all the blocks early or get the patterns for free once the SAL starts in feb. Last year it looked like they released a free pattern every Friday. I think you go to The Jolly Jabber Blog to get them. There is a link to the blog at the top of this page.
Is this the actual pattern?
This is the preview!
I can’t wait! I have learned so much about accurate piecing from Sewcialites 1 and 2! Thank you Kimberly!
Definitely I’m in! Now…decisions desicions!// definitivamente estoy dentro! Cuenten conmigo! Ahora decisiones decisiones!
I’m in.
Yeah! That means I had better get my 3.5″ block Sewcialites 2 finished.
I’m excited! Sewcialites 1 & 2 were fantastic!! Looking forward to #3!
I’m a little confused. Are those the actual blocks that will be made?
This one has got me!! My grandmother’s name was Lida and my mother’s first name. My grandmother loved roses and her second daughter’s first name was Rose. This fabric is beautiful!!! I can’t wait.
Looks fantastic. I made the Sewcialites 2. I’d like to back up and make Sewcialites 1 also. Can’t decide which fabric to use for Sewcialites 3. So excited to do this again. A big thank you Kimberly to you and your staff for making this possible.
