This week, we’re excited to introduce the dashingly dizzy Pinwheel Dash by Bev McCoullough!
Pinwheel Dash by Bev McCoullough
This week’s designer, Bev McCoullough, designs the cutest patterns for her company, Flamingo Toes, and is a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs. This week, she brought us the intermediate-level Pinwheel Dash Block, made with a handful of half square triangles and some pretty piecing! You can join Kimberly for a live sewing tutorial of the Pinwheel Dash Block on Friday, June 26th, at 9AM CT, in the Behind The Seams Livestream on the Fat Quarter Shop YouTube Channel.

Take a look at the Pinwheel Dash Block in all three size options, using different collections! Kimberly sewed the 6″ block using Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics, Gina Tell (@gina_tell_threadgraffiti) made the 3″ block in Wild Honey by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics, and Pat Sloan (@quilterpatsloan) pieced her 9″ block with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.
Three of our Quilty Staffers are joining in and making the 9″ blocks using Blueprint by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics, American Gatherings III by Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics, and In the Garden by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics.
