Summertime is finally here and that means we will be shipping out our July box in a few weeks! This month will be an ‘adventure’ and we can’t wait to bring you along. Leave us a comment and tell us what you think we may have included.

  21. I will have to agree, vintage adventure. YAY!!!!
    I would also love a fun pattern for a pin cushion or a small project that can be done in a afternoon as I don’t have the time to make a quilt every month. Either way I love my sew sampler boxs.

  23. Agree with others above that it’s Vintage Adventure. Very cute but I cancelled my subscription. It’s another aqua, pink, red color combo. I’ve been getting these boxes for 2 years and will say enjoyed receiving Sew Sampler boxes but these are not my colors. I just don’t need another box in this color way so I’m done. I will say these boxes are a good value. Just not for me any longer.

    1. I don’t mind pink, but I swear, if I see another fabric line with aqua in it, I will scream. We must be due for a change in fashion with colour combinations, PLEASE.

  28. This will be my first and I think I will be glamping this month. I won’t speculate on what else might arrive. I like surprises.

  36. I’m not sure. Riley Blake vintage adventure quilt fabric and pattern? All things vintage are good!! Can’t wait, I’m sure it will be fabulous!

  39. How about a row by row of summer fun ideas, which might include a map with blocks of iconic places/things to see? (Statue of Liberty, Rocky mountains, Dollywood, Niagra Falls) etc.

  40. First timer, vintage hopefully camper or camping material so I can glam up my camper some more.

  41. I hope its vintage adventure! I love the aquas & reds that we have been getting in our boxes, those colors are my fave! Hoping for a small project though.. A mini or a runner would be great!

    1. Easy just went to the FQS site, click on ‘My Account’ and on the left site bar click on ‘My Clubs, Boms and Preorders’. Click on this, it’ll show your subscription for the sew sampler box and just click on cancel. Really easy and if you wanna sign up again just send an email to FQS. I already cancel and reannounced my subscription a few times it’s not a problem;-)

  46. I have to agree w/Vintage Camping Adventures by Riley Blake! What an adorable line! Too cute! So cute for a table runner or cloth or even a tote bag to take along for a weekend! I can’t wait! Love the colors!!!!!!

  48. First box. With the high cost for Canadians (with the exchange and the shipping!) and ALL the good comments from your past boxes, I expect nothing less than the best! LOL But for summer, fabric with tons of summery colours and I like too, the camper pincushion! A person mention a coupon, of what? Rebates, choices!? Another one say a ruler, templates and rulers are so expensive, yes, this is certainly welcome. I just say a box full of sun! 🙂

  49. I’m still awaiting the arrival of my June Box to South Australia. Whatever is in the July box will be most welcome. I love the surprise. Just like a birthday or Christmas present. (albeit one that I pay for)

  57. I just signed up…BECAUSE…I THINK…it may include some of the Riley Blake Vintage Adventure fabrics….and I am dying to get my hands on some of them…and I wanted to TRY out this Sew Sampler Box…everyone seems so happy with their boxes and I was feeling a little left out!

  61. I’m counting on it being Vintage Adventure . I cancelled my subscription in May – I love the sampler boxes but have too many to continue – but then I saw this and I signed up again. That fabric is too cute! Don’t let me down Fat QuarterShop!

  62. Vintage Adventure by Riley Blake. I am seriously considering signing up for this one, but with the New Zealand exchange rate, it’s a lot of money for me to find.

  65. I like the idea of the Kona solids for a future box, I think the cake is baked for the July box! Fat 1/8ths please! Would love another extended wear rotary blade, loved it from the April box!

  66. Oh, I hope it’s not pink, teal, aqua, coral colors again. It seems like so many of the boxes are vintage, small floral and that colorway. I’m tempted to cancel but don’t want to miss out on new tools that might be included.

    It would be nice to get some more variety. Solids? Batik? Black and White? Blue and White? I loved the speckled modern colors a couple of months ago and already completed that quilt top.

    1. I think same, i am tired of coral colour, i miss fall fabrics and project next season for.

    2. I agree! I don’t want to cancel my subscription as I love the tools and notions that come with the box. But I’d like to see something else for fabrics. The pink, aqua and light colors are getting repetitive.

      1. it sounds like I’m a day late and a dollar short again! July will be my first box and pink and teal are my go-to colors!!!LOL

    1. This is exactly why I cancelled my subscription. Didn’t want too, kept in for 2 years and always hoping different color way in next box. There are so many beautiful fabric lines available to only be these colors in majority of boxes.

    1. I emailed them once asking for different colors and not so modern but they said that is what the majority have said they want.

  73. I would like to receive a sew sampler box for each upcoming season. Not the specialty ones (to expensive). They could send each one a month or two in advance so we have time to complete the project. That would be fun!

  74. I absolutely love Beverly McCullough’s Vintage Adventure fabric, and although I already have a fat qtr bundle, I don’t mind receiving more in any other form. I WOULD JUST LOVE her “Floral Vintage Camper – Magnetic Embroidery Needle Minder.” I can’t imagine a better way to keep track of my needle while camping! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE aqua or turquoise with pink and reds. I have been thrilled with each Sew Sampler Box that I have received. Keep up the great work… it’s like Christmas morning when it arrives 🙂

  75. If you want to see a SAMPLER of different types of fabrics mention that on the survey which was e mailed today. I plan to! So many aspects of Sew Sampler are fun, the effort they put into each box is evident. Personally I would be over the moon with Laundry Basket prints we are teased with, or solids, or so many other different fabric lines that I would love to have samples of! Love you FQS! Thanks for allowing us the freedom to hear what others say and love!

    1. I feel the same way and I totally agree about the fabrics. I did cancel after last month after 2 years for this very reason. Nice boxes for the money but fabrics and colorways are too repetitive.

  78. I just got my box today.& it has nothing to do with the hint & of course same old colors.Its really time to rethink about this box.

  79. I received the July box today. I am impressed by the care you obviously place into providing great value and practicality, in the quality of useful tools, and the fabric quality.

    As I love how the notions are of a variety, allowing for (some) novel usage or, for others, resupplying or increasing confidence and ability for future projects, for similar reasons, a variety in fabric colors and styles would be beneficial in stretching our craft: learning and applying color theory & combinations, etc., rather than just stash increases in the “red, pink & aqua” color scheme (which does not provide this value).

    I learn best by seeing and doing and would love to increase my ability to see how different colors, color combinations, and styles can be incorporated into my future quilts.

  80. I love this months block. It was perfect timing for something I wanted to do. I have always liked bits and pieces of every box that I have received. I just wish I had more time to do the projects. This month I loved how everything had a purpose for the same outcome.

  82. I love the boxes even though most of the fabrics are not ones I would purchase. I liked seasonal fabric lines and projects and reproduction fabrics, I don’t care for the modern fabric lines which are mostly put in these boxes. I’ve made several projects and give them away to people.

  85. The July box is very nice. I love the ruler. I like the fabric but it’s along the same lines of past boxes. I would like to see other colorways. Solids, plaids, other colors than what we have been seeing. I don’t want to quit getting the boxes. They have been a highlight to my month. But I have to ask myself how much of the same type of fabric do I need?

  86. I have just received my second box and I love it! The fabric is beautiful and I can’t wait to use the ruler. Thank you FQS for your amazing service….just 9 days to the UK is awesome 😊😊
