Sew Sampler Box April 2022 Sneak Peek!

April Sneak Peek Header

Shipping Updates:

The following is a shipping schedule of outstanding Sew Sampler boxes, but as always, this information is subject to change.

You will not be billed until we are ready to ship out the boxes. We are currently estimating that:

  • The March box should ship out mid-April.
  • The April box should ship out early-May.

We apologize for the delays. Please know that this is completely out of our hands and we have been working with our vendors to get items as quickly as possible! Manufacturing and shipping have been a major challenge for most companies since 2020, and continue to affect shipments now.

Stay tuned for updates and we thank you for your support and patience!

April marks the Sew Sampler 6th Anniversary and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! We also brought along a special ‘queen bee’ guest to join in the festivities.

Any guesses who that might be?

  1. There’s only ONE Queen “Bee” in the quilting world of FQS and that is the infamous LORI HOLT of “Bee” in my Bonnet!!!

    1. I agree with you….you are absolutely right. There could not be another queen bee of Fat QUARTER Shop outside of Lori Holt.

    2. I love receiving my sew sampler every month full of sewing goodies! I am always impressed with the curation of usable items. I was a little disappointed with the Riley Blake beauty trio in the March box. That’s not something I expected to receive in my sewing box.

  2. Yay! I hope it is Sweetfire Road’s Midnight in the Garden. I got her Queen Bee socks and Needle Minder, because I am the Queen Bee in my family.

  3. I have to agree that Lori Holt is the Queen Bee 🐝 and would love anything Lori Holt! But if not not Lori Holt will still be thrilled and know will be such a great box as I love all the monthly boxes but the anniversary boxes are Bee-yond amazing 🤣 and sew excited

    1. There were plaids last month that is too close to gingham. Fingers crossed something adult
      Not plaid, sea creatures, etc

  4. I don’t know but I hope it’s a completely different style than usual. I do like getting different designers & different styles of patterns. I wish it would be the Queen Tula Pink

  5. Loving my boxes and can’t wait for this one 😊fingers crossed for Lori Holt as her colours and style are always perfect for me, but l am also a big fan of Thimbleblossoms, fig tree, Corey Yoder Lella Boutique etc. whatever we get l will love as these boxes of delight are a perfect way to get treated to something you would not normally get.Thank you Fat Quarter 😊💕

    1. Me 2!we don’t get enough of different designers. My queen bee is Bonnie & Camille & Tula!

  6. Riley Blake has several fabric lines that have bee designs. Not to mention the different bee patterns available, like the one in Bonnie and Camille’s Quilt Bee book.

  7. Lori Holt IS the “Queen Bee” and I can’t wait to see what an fabulous box this should be as an Anniversary Box!

  8. I think Bee in my Bonnet Lori Holt. When do we get charged for the box? Anyone know? I just re-signed up a week ago.

    1. Hi Candace,

Information for our clubs is often in their description boxes. Happy to have you back!

Each month your card will be charged $24.95 + shipping when your box ships.

      U.S. shipping is $4.95.
      Canada shipping is $12.00.
      International Shipping is $16.00.

  9. I think the fabric is Midnight in the Garden and Lori Holt is the designer for this years sew along.

  10. Will there be a kit available for the new block of the month that starts with the April box?

  11. The delays are understandable. My husband works in two different hospitals and they are both having severe shortages on some important items used in their heart surgeries right now. A late package from FQS is nothing compared.

I love getting the USPS notification that the little blue box is out for delivery. I know the day will be much better for it. My favorite parts are the newest rulers and notions. Thank you Kim for working so hard to make a large group of women very happy every month, especially in these times with delays on everything.

  12. I have been getting the boxes since the beginning and I love getting them every month! I don’t think I could stop getting them.
They always bring some sunshine to my life!

  13. I am really hoping🤞 it’s Queen Bee by Timeless Treasures. Of course Midnight in The Garden by Sweetfire Road would be great too. But if it is Lori Holt I will be happy to receive it.

Thank you for the March box. I am excited about the notions and fabric bundle. Not sure about the papers, seems like a lot of work but I will give it a try.
Thank you again for all you do. Blessings.

  14. Does anyone know what the new coupon expiration dates are for all the delayed boxes? Is it 2 months past the printed dates, or does it vary? I can’t find that information anywhere. Thanks!

  15. It has to be Lori Holt! Yes, please, oh please, let there be a needle minder in the April SSB!! 🙂
