A few months ago, we had the huge pleasure of having Stacy Iest Hsu visit us at FQS, and she taught us so much! We will be rolling out all of our videos with the many, many awesome projects she did with us… but today we’re giving her new fabric collection for Moda Fabrics, Howdy, a big ole shout out!
It’s cute, it’s for both genders, it’s got cut and sew doll panels complete with everything a little cowpoke requires, what more could you ask for?! Oh, a hobby horse? Sure, she’s got that in there too! Watch the Howdy video below, and you will fall in love for sure, with the fabric AND Stacy!
We have been fans of Stacy’s designs for a long time. Her storybook and fairytale-inspired lines are the whimsical gateways for our fanciful imaginations.
Looking for quilts to make with Howdy? We have these two kits to get you started, with more fun sewing projects to follow, so just hold your horses!
Giddy Up is pure, illustrated Western charm!
Westward is made with a Howdy Jolly Bar and is inspired by the bright stars over a waning campfire during a long cattle drive.
Since the Howdy panel dolls make sweet gifts, imagine gifting them in this matching set of nesting suitcases!
That’s all for now, but give us a holler about Westward – is it going to become a Summer project for your little cowpoke?

Just found out about this fabric line and I’m so very excited for it to come out! I have three projects in mind that it will be perfect for; one is a stick horse for a tiny cowgirl I know.
