Hello everyone! We are so excited to introduce our newest collaboration with Pattern Jam! If you’re unfamiliar with Pattern Jam, they are the world’s easiest and fun to use online quilting designer site.
Have you ever wondered what certain fabrics look like with a particular quilt pattern? Well, Pattern Jam is here to help! You can design your own quilt pattern or choose from various patterns (even clothing and bags) on their website and pick and choose what fabrics to use. Here’s a quick infographic tutorial on how to use Pattern Jam….
Creating an account on Pattern Jam is FREE. When you create an account, you are able to create your own quilt designs right in your fingertips. They also have Pattern Jam Plus subscription which provides you with unlimited PDF downloads of patterns!
Design your quilt and preview the design in your favorite fabrics! In this example, we chose the Zombie Love fabric by Emily Taylor, just in time for Halloween!
Now you can print quilt design and sew your quilt. And voila! The quilt is finished and ready to be enjoyed by you or your loved ones!
We would love for you to try Pattern Jam with us, so we are hosting a super fun contest just for our FQS fans! Here is how to enter…
1. Create a Pattern Jam account
2. Design a quilt pattern on Pattern Jam using the Zombie Love collection.
3. Save the design to the public feed and in social media
3. Pattern Jam and FQS will pick a winner on October 15, 2015 and announce it on the blog.
The winner will receive a surprise gift from Pattern Jam and Fat Quarter Shop! So what are you waiting for? Let’s get Pattern-Jammin’!

Hi, I've crearted my pattern and made it public. But your intructions say that the pattern must be on social media and I have the option for FB, Twitter, etc. I need to know what to do about that. Help please.
Great quilt! I just tried Pattern Jam for the first time. It's fun playing around with designs and fabric 🙂
