It’s Farm Girl Fridays! Yeehaw!

It’s the end of the Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along with Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet! We are so amazed by the amazing turnout of this sew along on social media. Farm Girls from all over the world have come together to sew 45 Farm Girl sampler blocks, and we love every single one of them!

For our last post, we gathered some of our favorite photos of Lori’s Farm Girl Vintage quilts to commemorate this one-of-a-kind Farm Girl Sew Along.  So let’s take a trip through Farm Girl Land!

It was sew much fun “hanging out” with everyone…

Where we always have a “barn-raising” good time!

May your cupboards always be “stocked” with beloved quilts…

And your sewing machine filled with thread, for we know sewing, like milk, does a body good.

You know you’re a true Farm Girl if  your other truck is a tractor…

And after a long day’s work, nothing feels better than “hitting the hay”.

If you’re not ready for the fun to end, Lori will keep the Farm Girl frenzy going on her blog, so “chick” it out.

For instance, Lori has created extra Farm Girl block patterns just for you! (With more on the way!)

She has so many things up her quilty sleeve, including a few adorable notions that are must-haves for all Bee in my Bonnet fans, starting with the Seams Sew Easy Seam Guide for an accurate 1/4″ seam and constructing easy corner triangles.

Since you asked for it, she also created these amazing ready-made Bee in my Bonnet Design Boards so you can stockpile as many as you want!

And we cannot forget about Lori’s new Bloom Sew Simple Shapes for her upcoming Bloom Sew Along in 2016.
That’s not all; we will be “rolling out” some new Lori Holt goodies soon, so don’t forget to keep up with us on social media.  If you’re at Houston Quilt Festival at the end of this month, you’ll get to see these new goodies firsthand!

  1. I love so many of those blocks. Wish I had more time to actually follow along with everyone. Right now my fav is the milk can and the tractor
    Thanks for sharing

Oh and I just got my 'seams sew easy seam guide" from bee in the bonnet yesterday.
