Yeehawww! The moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally come, Farm Girl Vintage is here! We’re getting your books shipped out as fast as we possibly can so you can get your hot little hands on it ASAP!

Also, the rumors are true! Lori is having a Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along and we know you’re itching to start. Here are the details….

When is it?
The Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along will begin Friday, May 1, 2015 and last until Friday, October 9, 2015. We’re calling it #farmgirlfridays ! Be sure to visit Lori’s blog every Friday for piecing tips and her adorable blocks. We will also have two featured bloggers each week showcasing their Farm Girl block.

What are you sewing?
We are sewing all of the 45 Farm Girl blocks from the book, and every Friday, we will sew two blocks, going right down the list in the book. Choose from the 6″ or the 12″ block options to use in any of the Mix & Match or Farm Girl quilt options, also your choice!

What do you need?
You need your Farm Girl Vintage book in hand and your stash is ready for the fun! Lori created a custom Fat Quarter bundle with her favorite fabrics that would be perfect for the sew along.

  1. Got my book, the Fq bundle and some "happy colors" aurifil thread and I am ready to sew!! Yeehaw!!!! Not too happy about having to wait a few more weeks, I might have to jump in now!!!

  2. Got mine yesterday and I already know which block I want to make first! My son is almost 5 and we are working on his first quilt together. He picked this up and paged through it and wants to use it for his second quilt, starting with the strawberry block!

  3. This may be a silly question, but I'm new to quilting and am curious: would the fat quarter bundle be enough to make all of the blocks for the quilt along?

  4. I really like the sergeant major quilt…it would look beautiful at my vacation house!!

  5. I wish I could do this…my vote is for sergeant major. That quilt looks so complicated and is just beautiful!!

  6. I cast my vote for the sergeant major quilt!! What a lovely addition to any home!! A real heirloom!!

  7. I'm so in love with this book! How do I connect with Lori's blog? I CAN'T WAIT! WHOOT WHOO
