Today marks the beginning of an exciting 11-month quilting celebration! The Quilty Fun Row Along, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Lori Holt’s first book with Fat Quarter Shop, is officially upon us. Join us from now to March 2025 by bringing back this beloved pattern through quilting along!

This celebratory quilt measures 68.5″ x 86.5″ and is perfect for mid-level quilters or confident beginners! Remember all the supplies are listed on the Quilty Fun Supplies Page and below. It’s not too late for you to join the fun!

Kimberly is sewing with a variety of fabrics designed by Lori Holt for Riley Black Designs. These fabrics include selections from Bee Cross Stitch, Bee Basics, Mercantile, Prairie, Home Town, Cook Book, Bee Dots, Bee Plaids, Calico, Bee Vintage and more. You can get the Quilty Fun Row Along Quilt Fabric Kit to sew one just like ours!

There will not be video tutorials other than the one already on the Lori Holt’s YouTube Channel, but Kimberly will share her progress on her livestreams, Facebook, and Instagram.

This means EVERYONE can sew along, and we hope you will! You can join in by sharing your progress with the hashtag #QuiltyFunRowAlong on social media, or join Kimberly’s Stitch Squad on Facebook.

  2. I’m sewing along with the Quilty Fun and have the first couple of rows done. Excited.

  4. I first bought Lori Holt’s Quilty Fun in 2014. It was a colourway and style that was very much out of my comfort zone, so I’ve put it off for years.
    Now I have seen this row-a-along and I am inspired to give it a go.
    I am sewing from my stash.

  5. Will there be a binder cover? I have the book with the pattern but have the schedule and other pages that need a home 😊

    1. Hi Mary! We don’t have an official one, but since you asked we tested and if you open the image of the quilt in a new tab and print it then it should work perfectly! 🙂

      1. Thanks. I had printed something else (don’t remember what 🤷‍♀️) but it’s too small for the cover. I’ll try this.
