Jolly Housewives SAL with The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch

Christmas is coming and it’s about to get a lot more jolly! This December we’re stuffing our stockings and decking the halls with cross stitch. Join me, Kimberly Jolly, and Priscilla and Chelsea from The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch for Jolly Housewives, A Merry Little Stitch-A-Long! You can stitch along with us by stitching up your favorite holiday patterns designed by Stitching with the Housewives all season long.

Jolly Housewives starts December 1 and lasts until December 31, but I can’t wait to get started so I will begin stitching on November 24. This is the best Christmas present ever! This year I am stitching up six of my favorite Stitching with the Housewives Christmas patterns! You can stitch along with me or choose your own patterns from Stitching with the Housewives that you can see here on the Real Housewives of Cross Stitch Pattern Page.

Patterns I am Stitching

I will be stitching one of these six patterns every day for 5 weeks until they are all done and ready to FFO! I love stitching each day because it keeps things interesting, and I get to change my project daily for a mix of pace. To keep me accountable, I will be keeping up with the FREE Jolly Housewives Downloadable Calendar and will post my progress on Facebook and Instagram daily.  You can also see my progress and what other cross stitchers are stitching in my Kimberly’s Stitch Squad Facebook group.

I’m starting off the Jolly Housewives SAL with the December Truckin’ Along pattern by Stitching with the Housewives! I am in the club and just recently finished up the November Truckin’ Along pattern. I love this one!

Up on the Housetop Cross Stitch is next on my Christmas list! There is another vintage truck in this pattern to add to my collection. I love the snowy house. So cozy for winter!

Here comes Santa Claus! I’m excited to be stitching up the Santa Claus is Coming to Town Cross Stitch! This one is super cute! I love to stitch text, and these letters have a cute flair to them.

For A Merry Little Christmas, I am stitching on Aqua Dyed Effect 14 Count Aida by Fabric Flair. I like stitching these patterns on my signature chalkboard black, but I am switching it up on this one to keep things fun!

The Rudolph and Mr. Claus Cross Stitch is such a cute pattern! I haven’t decided if I will make it extra cute by switching out Mr. Claus for my dog, Piggy! Priscilla has charted a Piggy pattern for me that you can find free on her blog.

The last one on my Christmas stitching list is the Winter Berries pattern by Stitching with the Housewives. I am “berry” excited about this one! Of course, it is my favorite pattern in this magazine!

Patterns Priscilla and Chelsea Are Stitching

See what Priscilla and Chelsea are stitching up for more stitchy inspiration! I love keeping up with the Housewives and their stitches. You know I love how Priscilla finishes all of her cross stitch pieces (and mine)!

Bonus Items I Know You Will Love

Stitching with the Housewives Jolly Housewives Christmas T-Shirt

Priscilla and Chelsea designed the Stitching with the Housewives Jolly Housewives Christmas T-Shirt, so we can be festive and twinning! This shirt is super soft and comfortable and fits true to size. If you have the original Stitching with the Housewives T-Shirt this one will fit the same.

Stitching with the Housewives Project Bag

While I stitch along I will be keeping my WIPs in my Stitching with the Housewives Project Bag. I picked up one of these as soon as I could! It coordinates well with all my pattern so I know exactly which WIPs are in here. I hope you have plenty of empty project bags at the ready because we have lots of stitching to do!

You’ll want to print off the FREE Downloadable December 2020 Calendar so you can stay organized with us. You can also pick up the Cross Stitch Journal that allows you to record every detail for every cross stitch project you choose, like pattern, designer, time spent, and floss and cloth used. It’s one of my favorite must-haves!
