Are you ready to try a fun technique for transforming fabric into something new and different? Follow along with Mister Domestic as he shows you how to weave fabric in these free video tutorials.
To get started with fabric weaving, you only need a few supplies. A Wefty Needle, Lori Holt Foam Blocking Board and some Woven Stretch Fusible Interfacing will make it easy to weave the fabric strips.
If you can weave one block, then you can weave blocks to make a quilt! This stunning woven quilt can be done on your home sewing machine.
3. Make a Triaxial Fabric Weaving Pillow
After mastering the basics of warp and weft fabric weaving, add in a third direction to form this Q-bert style block. It looks just like the classic Tumbling Blocks, and you’ll be amazed by how it goes together! Once you’ve made the pillow top, add on a snap-closure pillow back to complete the project.
