We are a wrap on the Clementine Quilt Along benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Thanks to all of you for quilting along with us and to all of the wonderful people who bid on Pat Sloan’s Clementine Quilt!
The winner of this year’s charity quilt auction is Jan McElyea with a winning bid of $1,000!
“I am an accountant who quilts as a hobby. It’s my therapy! And, to me, quilts tell stories. And to be a part of this story truly warms my heart. I’m thankful to Pat Sloan and the Fat Quarter Shop for investing their time and talents in helping raise money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. What an honor for me!! I will treasure this ‘story/quilt’ for years to come! Many blessings to each of you!” – Jan McElyea
In addition to a successful charity quilt auction, we have also met our match for donations! From January through July 2018, Fat Quarter Shop has posted free patterns on their blog and asking for donations to their St. Jude Children’s Hospital campaign, to continue their mission to end child cancer and to assist their families and children.
Together with Moda Fabrics, we are matching up to $20,000 of all donations raised in this campaign!
Our donation page is still open until the end of 2018 and donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are always welcome!
