Charming Baby Quilts Sew Along - Week 2 - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Charming Baby Quilts Sew Along – Week 2

We’re on to week two of the Charming Baby Sew Along for the Charming Baby Quilts Book by Melissa Corry and It’s Sew Emma! Are you sewing along? The book brings 10 original baby quilts to life, featuring the classic 5″ square charm pack precut. Each design uses one, two or three charm packs, making this an essential book to have on hand for gifts and celebrations.

We’re making two blocks every Wednesday from April 8 to May 13. We have some friends sewing along with us who are showing off their blocks each week and giving prizes along the way!

Kimberly sewed her Charming Baby Sampler Quilt in Bonnie At Home fabric collection by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics.

We have the full Fabric Requirements HERE for you to use and pick out your fabrics for the Sew Along. You will need the Charming Baby Quilts Book and to help you complete the sampler quilt. Join us each Wednesday here on the blog for new cutting instructions.

We have a great lineup of quilters (including the author, Melissa Corry) sewing along with us! Click on each of the photos to see them up close and see what collections they used as well as tips and tricks they have to make it! Here are some of their blocks:

  1. I’m still waiting for my book to arrive.
Looking forward to starting when it comes.

  2. I like your colour palette. Would be good for a Christmas quilt too. Perhaps a baby’s first chrissy.
