Charity Quilt Auction Countdown

 

UPDATE: Congratulations to the bidders! The Threadology quilt auction raised $1,437! That will be added to the amount of $21,648.96 donated by the generous quilting community and $20,000 from Moda and FQS for total of $43,085.96 for Make-a-Wish! Thank you everyone!!

 

We are on the final countdown for the Threadology Charity Quilt Auction, which will end Monday, June 24 at 9 AM CST! This year, we are auctioning off two quilts by our quilty friends Pat Sloan and Melissa Corry! All proceeds from this auction will go to Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas.

The generous quilting community has donated $21,501 to date, and we hope to raise even more with our Threadology quilt auctions on Ebay. Past Charity Quilt Alongs have made it possible to grant wishes to several Central Texas kids, and we’re on track to grant three wishes this year!

 

Threadology Quilt Auction

We are sew excited to have two Threadology Quilts for auction!
100% of the sale of these quilts will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas to support their wish-granting work for children with critical illnesses.
The auction is open on Ebay now through Monday, June 24 at 9  AM CST.

Melissa Corry’s Threadology Quilt

Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting Melissa is generously auctioning off her vibrant Threadology Quilt made with her own personal stash of Bonnie & Camille fabrics from Moda Fabrics! This 72.5″ x 72.5″ lap quilt was made and quilted by Melissa Corry, renown quilter, teacher, author, and designer! This quilt composition is her own design based on the Fat Quarter Shop Threadology quilt and finishes at a very generous size.

Pat Sloan’s Threadology Quilt

Pat Sloan’s beautiful Threadology Quilt is made with the Sweet Tea collection from Sweetwater for Moda Fabrics! This 52.5″ x 68.5″ lap quilt was pieced by Pat Sloan, celebrity quilter, teacher, author, designer podcaster and Voice of Quilting! The backing is also thoughtfully pieced, and Pat Sloan has added a signed label to the quilt. It is quilted gratis by Cindy and Dennis Dickenson of Pinkpaw & Co. Thank you, Cindy and Dennis!
