Announcing The Strippy Spools Quilt Along!

Spin into the bright and cheerful days of summer with the Strippy Spools Quilt Along! For 8 weeks, we will be sewing up beautiful bobbins and stunning spools in Camille Roskelley’s Summertime collection. Thread enthusiasts, this quilt along is for you!

Our bobbins are full, our spools are threaded, and we are ready to wind our way through this Jelly Roll-friendly quilt along! The Strippy Spools Quilt Pattern comes in two sizes, and for this project, we will be making the lap size, which measures 53.3″ x 66.5″ finished. All the supplies are listed on the Strippy Spools Quilt Along Supplies Page and below!

This quilt along is perfect for confident beginners, especially when you use a Jelly Roll to cut down on steps! Kimberly will also have a Sew With Me Livestream to kick off the Strippy Spool Quilt Along on Friday, May 23rd, at 9 AM CST on the Fat Quarter Shop YouTube Channel. Tune in for a tutorial on the Strippy Spools Block and to see all of Kimberly’s tips and tricks!

The Strippy Spools Quilt is designed with the Summertime Collection by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics. Kimberly is sewing hers with the Strippy Spools Quilt Kit and Backing Set, but you can always switch things up by downloading the quilt pattern to get the fabric requirements!
