We are sew excited to have four quilts up for auction! 100% of the proceeds from the quilt auction will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas to support their wish-granting work for children with critical illnesses. The auction is open on eBay now through Sunday, September 25.

This year’s charity quilt along benefits Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! Thanks to your support and generous donations, we have surpassed our fundraiser goal of $100,000 in donations towards Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas, and we hope to raise even more with our Heartfelt Quilt Auction on eBay!
Pat Sloan sewed up her Heartfelt Charity Quilt with Gathering by Shelley Cavanna for Benartex Fabrics. The quilt top and pieced backing were made by Pat Sloan with help from Deborah Hawkins, with longarm quilting donated by Gina Tell of Thread Graffiti. It will be a treasure to add to your home! Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts is auctioning off her Heartfelt Quilt made with a scrappy mix of Moda Fabrics. This is such a colorful quilt in tones that will both warm and brighten your home. It was quilted by David Hurd of Quilting by David, and the binding was finished by Mandy of the Dandy Patch, both of who donated their services for this charity quilt. You can view the auction HERE.
Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings made her quilt half size using a variety of scrappy heart and Valentine-themed fabrics from Moda Fabrics and Riley Blake Designs, including her own fabrics. Quilted by Jake Neubauer, it has a sewn-in sleeve, perfect for hanging on a feature wall, a handwritten quilt label, and faux piping detail on the binding. It has been washed and has a lovely crinkly texture. You can view the auction HERE.
Last but not least, Kimberly is auctioning off her Heartfelt Charity Quilt! Her quilt has been beautifully crafted throughout the year, sewn in the monthly block tutorials on the Fat Quarter Shop Livestream Videos. It’s made with Beautiful Day by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics. You can view the auction HERE.

Fat Quarter Shop is happy to be partnering with Moda Fabrics to match up to $30,000 in donations for this worthy cause.
At this time, Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas has matched six kids with Fat Quarter Shop to receive Wishes. These six kids will receive their special wishes thanks to donors like you. Kids like Lily, a 9-year-old girl diagnosed with Leukemia, will get to visit Disney World, where she hopes to meet Elsa and Ariel. Michael, a Dallas Cowboys fan, wishes to meet football player Dak Prescott! We can’t wait to see this 12-year-old boy receive his Wish. This special meeting will be a bright spot amidst a cancer diagnosis.
Since 2014, the charity quilt alongs by Fat Quarter Shop and our community have helped raise $650,000 and granted a total of 110 wishes!
