Oh my gosh! I love love love this! Can’t wait to get started!
I have a few questions. Do the proceeds of the kit sells go to make a wish? Also if it starts in January why will they not ship the kit till February? Do we donate the finished quilt to make a wish? I have done many charity quilts but am not seeing where we are benefiting make a wish. Please help point me in the right direction.
The Make a Wish donation comes from the pattern downloads ($5 donation to make a wish per download) and the charity quilt we auction off. The quilt along will start in February however if you choose to use your own fabrics, we will have the fabric requirements out in January. If you choose the quilt kit option, you will receive all fabrics and block patterns with the quilt kit in February, right in time for the quilt along. Usually you make a donation to Make-a-Wish, in exchange for getting the patterns for free. The quiltalong starts in February and the kits ship in February. It looks like fabric requirements are posted in January so you can start planning if you don’t want to use the kit.
