Last week, in the spirit of Fall, we had a little poetry contest, giving you a chance to win one of three gift certificates for Fat Quarter Shop! We read all your poems and let me just say, who knew quilters were such poets?! It was a blast seeing all the responses and reading everything you wrote; funny rhymes, haikus, and even odes to your favorite sweater. Thanks to everyone who participated, we had a lot of fun!

I thought you were going to pick based on creativity – not just random draw. I think many others thought so too or they may not have spent time trying to come up with something fun & creative. A sign of the times I guess….

For what it's worth, I think you were absolutely right to choose randomly. If it had been subjectively based on 'merit' everyone would have been arguing about that too!!
