There’s nothing like a sampler quilt first thing in the morning, don’t you agree? We can’t get enough of the soft creams and rich browns in It’s Sew Emma’s Cream & Sugar Quilt! The quilt is made from the Cream & Sugar Block of the Month Quilt Book using Sonoma by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts for Andover Fabrics!
This quilt along will go along the schedule of the Cream & Sugar Block of the Month. We do have the Block of the Month and, to continue the Cream & Sugar fun, we do want to showcase other collections you can make this gorgeous quilt from with this quilt along. What you’ll need to Quilt Along
All you’ll need to get started is the Cream & Sugar Block of the Month Book and your choice of fabrics! Here are the general fabric requirements to make your version of the Cream & Sugar Quilt:
Quilt Along Schedule
We will be hosting this quilt along on our social media (Facebook, Instagram) channels and blog. On the 28th of each month from April 2019 to March 2020, we will be sharing the blocks our quilty friends who are quilting along with us made for that month on our social media and have a total of 4 blog posts to recap all of the blocks and the finalized quilts! Here is the schedule:
July 28, 2019 – Will go over blocks made in months 1 – 4
November 28, 2020 – Will go over blocks made in months 5 – 8
March 28, 2020 – Will go over months 9 – 12
May 28, 2020 – Will showcase the finalized quilts made in different collections!

Dorothy, Yes, you’ll receive the book and the first month’s fabric in the same shipment, and those go out on April 27.
I only ordered the BOM, was there a finishing kit and if so, will I regret not having it? This is a bit confusing…
Hi Jane,
We’re not selling a finishing kit and you won’t need one, because it’s all blocks without sashing.
The only extra you would need besides what you receive in the BOM is 7/8 yd for binding and 7 5/8 yards for the backing yardage. Depending on how you cut things and if you make mistakes or not, there may well be extra left over from the BOM for a scrappy binding.
Is it too late to sign up for the BOM? I tried several links that dont take me where I need to go. So sad!
