We’ve grown and harvested quite the patch of pumpkins for picking! The holidays just aren’t the holidays without a little quilting whether it be a wall-hanging, quilt or tablerunner. If you aren’t sure which to pick, go with them all! We’ve carved out a bushel of some winners here for you! If you’re ready to get sewing, read on for details on our Pick a Pumpkin contest!
1. Oh My Gourd! is a pumpkin-filled 23 1/2″ x 40 1/2″ pattern from It’s Sew Emma and is exclusive to Fat Quarter Shop! We made this one with you in mind and we hope you love it! You can take the pumpkins in this pattern and arrange them however you like for something unique, something that makes you say “Oh My Gourd!” This is available as a PDF download.

2. Pumpkins and Cream is a 60″ x 60″ quilt pattern by Fig Tree Quilts. We think this quilt makes the perfect, oh-sew-sweet, fall treat. Better than pumpkin pie! This is available in print.
3. Pumpkins & Mini Pumpkins by Cluck Cluck Sew offer similar pumpkin patterns but in a variety of sizes including a 58″ x 72″ quilt pattern and a 23.5″ x 29″ mini quilt pattern. Both quilts are great for getting scrappy and changing up prints! These are available in print.
4. Pumpkin Sky comes with two patterns including a 38.5″ x 25.5″ wall-hanging and an 18.5″ x 18.5″ pillow by Carried Away Quilting. This is available as a PDF download.
5. Pumpkin Patch Mini is a beginner-friendly pattern by Ellis & Higgs that finishes at 16″ x 20.5.” This pattern works great for showing off prints you really enjoy with large cuts and piecing. This is available as a PDF download.
6. Pumpkin Trio is by Fig Tree Quilts and is perfect for charm packs. We always love a charming quilt! This little quilt finishes at 26″ x 34″. This is available in print.
7. Pumpkins & The Beanstalk by Fig Tree Quilts creates two quilt sizes in Small Lap at 40″ x 49″ and Large Lap at 49″ x 58.” This is available in print.
8. Plaid Pumpkins by Center Street Quilts creates a throw quilt and a tablerunner. The tablerunner is sized 18″ x 66″ and the throw a 66″ x 82.” This is available as a PDF download.
9. Pumpkin Patch by G.E. Designs has patterns for two tablerunners each at 15″ x 36.” These are great for the more adventurous beginner. The pattern also allows you to quilt as you go! This is available in print and as a PDF download.
10. Pumpkin Seeds by The Pattern Basket uses charm packs for a gorgeous 48.5″ x 60.5″ quilt you’ll want to keep out all year. This is available in print and as a PDF download.
11. Pumpkins by Laundry Basket Quilts is our Pattern of the Month which means SALE. This pattern makes an elegant 48″ x 57.5″ quilt. This is available in print.
12. Hocus Pocus by The Pattern Basket will use your favorite layer cakes for a 52” x 65.5” quilt! This is available in print.

#FQSpickapumpkin Contest
Once you have picked your pumpkin pattern, enter a photo of your quilt top or finished project using #FQSpickapumpkin on Facebook or Instagram. Tag us @fatquartershop and make sure your profile is public so we can see your post! If you would like to participate without social media, you may submit your photos directly to us with this form (Google sign-in required). Throughout the month of October, we’ll be keeping up with your projects using the hashtag #FQSpickapumpkin. On October 31, we’ll pick a winner at random from Facebook, Instagram, and our Google form submissions. The winner will receive a pattern and some of our favorite Halloween-themed notions and fabric!
