To celebrate Worldwide Quilting Day this year, we’ve collected some of our favorite free quilt patterns. They all have free video tutorials and most start with precuts. They’re all PDF downloadable patterns, so you can download them and get sewing!

Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just beginning to thread your needle for the first time, these patterns range in difficulty, so there’s something for every quilter.

1. Jelly Roll Sizzle

This easy baby quilt is sure to make the top of your list for baby showers and nursery gifts! Jelly Roll Sizzle is a simple, quick quilt, and you can use any Jelly Roll you love. 2. Charm Pack Shortbread

This cute quilt combines four patches and Irish Chains! The Charm Pack Shortbread quilt will be done in no time. It’s fast and easy, great for beginners or when you need a quilt right away!

3. Layer Cake Spools

The Layer Cake Spools Quilt is way easier than it looks, don’t be scared off! We love how the spools form like magic with the simple techniques Kimberly demonstrates in the video. She shares all her tips and tricks to help you get this fun, scrappy spool pattern.

4. Fat Eighth Flip

You’ll flip at how easy this quilt is! We love the Fat Eighth Flip Shortcut Quilt for it’s highlighting big prints with its clean lines. It’s great even for thicker fabrics like flannel, and it is so quick and easy, you can finish the quilt top in a day!

5. Fat Quarter Four-Patch

This easy quilt is called Fat Quarter Four Patch, it’s beginner-friendly and also looks great in any fabric collection. The free pattern has four size options, so no matter how many Fat Quarters you have, you can still make this quilt and it’s a great choice for larger sizes!

6. Simple Strips Quilt Panel Quilt

The Simple Strips Quilt is an elegant finishing you can repeat on any quilt panel! Quilt panels usually measure 23″ x 42″, but it’s easy to adapt this finishing for any size.
