Today we’re continuing with the eighth block of The Ultimate Beginner Quilt. It’s called Sawtooth Star, and we are almost to the last block of the quilt! Woo hoo!
The Ultimate Beginner Quilt is a free quilt pattern series with video tutorials designed just for beginners. Even if you have zero sewing experience, this is the free quilt class for you! In the Block 8 tutorial, Kimberly covers how to sew the Sawtooth Star units by cutting triangles in different sizes and adding a few squares. If you missed the tutorial for block 7, go back and watch it now to learn about it. It’s good preparation for making Sawtooth Star units because you’re going to be making last week’s Flying Geese again but with squares added! Download your FREE pattern for Block 8.

I am not a beginner quilter but have been sewing along. This has been so fun and I have learned some great tips. Love,Love, love this series.
