In the Block 6 tutorial, Kimberly covers how to sew the Lattice, which uses corner square triangles. Learn best practices for placing and sewing connector corners. It’s good preparation for making Flying Geese units, which we’ll tackle in Block 7. Download your FREE pattern for Block 6. We have a challenger winner!

In August, we held our Ultimate Beginner Challenge giveaway. Now, we have our winner! Congratulations to Jolyn C. from @shehelpsmesew for winning a $50 gift card to Fat Quarter Shop! We hope you find exactly what you need for your next quilting project. Thank you for participating!

To win, participants had to post the Ultimate Beginner Challenge logo on their social media pages, tag us and use the hashtag #ultimatebeginnerquilt! Jolyn played along, and she’s been doing a great job of sewing along!

Stay tuned for next week’s blog and video! On Thursday, September 19, we’ll cover Block 7, Flying Geese Zig Zags.
