We’re celebrating our quilting community with a free block of the week quilt along called the Sewcialites Quilt Along. We’ve joined forces with 18 talented designers to bring you a free 38-week quilt along with amazing sampler blocks and sew many options! This week’s designer, Joanna Figueroa is the creative force behind Fig Tree & Co. for Moda Fabrics. The Soulful block she designed is intermediate-level, but we know you can do it if you take it step-by-step! You can sew along with Kimberly in today’s video tutorial on YouTube for some tips on putting it together.
Joanna sewed two 3″ blocks from her collections Christmas Figs I and Christmas Figs II by Fig Tree & Co. for Moda Fabrics. Visit Joanna’s blog for more details about her block, sewing process and her fabrics. Be warned… she’ll have you feeling festive with all of her holiday sewing!

Sew Along Perks
