Welcome back for week 3 of the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along as we celebrate our amazing quilting community! Each week, one of the 25 oh-sew-talented designers we’ve teamed up with is bringing you a new block pattern. This week, we’re excited to introduce the cozy and cute Cabin Life Block by Robin Pickens!

Cabin Life Block by Robin Pickens

This week’s designer is Robin Pickens (@robinpickens)! She is a fabric designer, a quilt pattern designer, and a cross stitch pattern designer, and this week she brought us the intermediate-level Cabin Life Block. Made with corner squares and a modified log cabin base, this block is a scrappy pictorial block that will make you feel right at home. Take a look at the Cabin Life Block in all three size options, using different collections! Kimberly sewed the 6″ block using Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics, Gina Tell (@gina_tell_threadgraffiti) made the 3″ block in Wild Honey by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics, and Pat Sloan (@quilterpatsloan) pieced her 9″ block with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.

Three of our Quilty Staffers are joining in and making the 9″ blocks using Blueprint by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics, American Gatherings III by Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics, and In the Garden by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics.
