Fabric and quilt designer Minki Kim came by the Fat Quarter Shop studio to show us how to make some must-have pouches and bags. These pouches are sewn up quickly and machine quilted at home! These pouches are cute and useful, but they are also a great way to practice quilting on your own!
With the help of Minki’s video tutorials, you’ll learn to sew the Sweet 17 Zip Pouch and the Moments Zip Pouch. Beginners can learn how to insert a zipper and some finishing details. If you’re an advanced or intermediate sewist, you may learn a new construction technique from these patterns.
Minki’s bags are so cute you’ll want to take them everywhere! They’re just that sweet and they’re totally giftable. From carrying quilting and sewing supplies to traveling with cosmetics, pencils and more, you’ll have plenty of uses for both of these patterns.
