  1. This is indeed better than expecting a trick instead of a treat. Thank you for a very special sampler box again. This is just so much fun and you feel so special waiting for that Tiffany box to come and you get to open this box and it feels like Christmas again and again. Thank you for making these boxes so dang exciting. Can't wait to open this box up this month.

  2. I love Bonnie and Camille! I have been a subscriber for 3 months and have loved every box I have received. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product. I have enjoyed each box so much that I doubled my subscription!

  3. How exciting, I already signed up because I really really enjoyed your September box, Thank you so very much! Mara in Greece.

  4. Don't want to be a downer but I have no use for embroidery thread. Looking forward to what else is in the box. Loved the last box!

  5. Embroidery thread can be used for decorative sewing. Use a strand or two in your machine to make a flower or Lettering (just some examples). I am sure they will have either provide some ideas in how to use it or even provide a tutorial in their YouTube channel. No need to panic people, lol. It's always fun to learn news things and to push ourselves a little further in our creativity. This is a "sew sampler" after all. A box that gives us samples of what is out there. Thank-you Fat Quarter Shop for always keeping it fresh!

  7. I just found out about your the 10 years, 10 blocks Christmas quilt. How long will the information be available on video. I probably may get it started but not finished before Christmas.

  8. I know uses for embroidery thread. I also have every color under the sun and then some already.

  9. Oh no to all of you who think you won't use embroidery thread. How many times have you seen a gorgeous project and not have everything you needed. Tho these beautiful threads may sit in my stash for awhile (or not!) they will surely be used. I personally enjoy the range of items we receive! Thanks Fat Quarter Shop!

  10. I don't embroider, but have used heaps of embroidery floss over the years doing wraps for girls' hair. Mine have outgrown that now so I cleared out my stash a couple of years ago. This is not an item I'd personally use, but I'm looking forward to the early reveal pics and videos for a sneak peek of what else is in the box. I think this will be my last month, but I've enjoyed participating. Since the individual items are always put on the site afterwards, I can always order any single items I really want afterwards.

  11. This is my first box! The value is right at $65.00! I will not complain about what is in the box, all of it can be used. I was so happy to get the Handmade fat eights I have been looking at the line for a few weeks. Now I have an excuse to purchase more of this fabric.
The price of the subscription is Fantastic! LOVE IT All!

  12. I am VERY disappointed in this month's box. I loved the first five, but the sixth was a little disappointing. This month's contains only one thing I will actually use — the material. Every other thing is a complete waste to me — especially in a quilting box. If I ordered a cross stitch or embroidery box it would be fine.

  13. Could you please send me your items you won't use?! I would love to have them! I loved this box and all of the others.

  14. I've been checking for reveal videos all weekend. I think this month's box looks good, and I don't embroider. I don't know when/if I'll use the floss and I'll never use the pattern, but I never do so I'm not fussed about that. 🙂

I'm pleased about the coupon (Ill definitely take advantage of that), the pins/needles (held off on buying both because I figured they were destined for a box) and I think I could use this fabric. I might even use the second pattern.

I still don't think I'm a subscription box person, but there's enough in this box that I'll use for it to have been worth it. It's always a good value for the cost, but obviously I enjoy the box a lot more when I'll get use out of the items.

I like the ruler holder from last month and I used the rotary cutter, stitch ripper, Sewline pencil and Frixion marker from previous boxes at a quilt class I took last weekend. I'm using the Create zipper bag to hold my monthly recipe cards. So far I haven't used any of the fabric, but I'm planning to make a few bags for Christmas gifts so that might be a good use of the fat eighths.
