Happy Monday, Quilters! Today marks the beginning of the Quilty Fun Blog Tour & Sew Along Christmas vacation. Regularly scheduled Quilty Fun programming will begin again with the Trees block on January 6, 2014. Be sure to mark your calendars! We are teaming up with MessyJesse to show off our big, beautiful trees. But in the meantime, you have a few weeks to do some catching up!
We are sewing this charming sampler quilt to celebrate the release of Quilty Fun by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet. Each week, we introduce a new block for you to sew! We still have a while to go, so if you are interested in joining, hop over and buy the book, then get all of the Quilty Fun Blog Tour & Sew Along information here. Catching up will take no time at all!
Lori put together a handy list of notions that she used when sewing the Quilty Fun projects. If you are curious, you can browse and shop all of those notions here. If you are just starting your Quilty Fun sampler, have a look and stock up on supplies!
And last but not least, we are announcing the winners of last week’s Quilty Fun Giveaway! We browsed the Quilty Fun Sew Along Flickr Group and chose three winners. The winners of this week’s giveaways are Pixels to Patchwork, callieappelstine, and elnorac.
Be sure to check back on January 6th to sew the Trees block with MessyJesse. And if you are sewing along, don’t forget to add your photos to the Flickr group! Happy Christmas vacation!

I just got my Quilty Fun book for Christmas. I will join along after
the break. Maybe I will have a chance to "catch up"!
Got the book when it was released but with Christmas fast approaching I had no time to join in……am hoping to be caught up and ready to join you all when it starts again 🙂
Just caught up with my sister – who has been up to the minute in making her blocks! My sister and daughter brought their featherweights to my house this past weekend and we had a lot of Quilty Fun! Thanks so much for hosting the Quilt Along! It is so much fun!
