Quilty Fun has Arrived!

The Quilty Fun books are here in our hot little hands, and we are over the moon about the whole thing! Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet‘s book is a true lesson in scrappy patchwork. Cover to cover, the whole thing is a work of Bonnet-esque art and charm. As you gaze upon each happy picture and photo, learn how to transform your stash into the Bee in my Bonnet Row Along and 10 brand new projects with the same Row Along flavors.

Of course, we couldn’t let it end there. Make sure to pick up your copy of Quilty Fun to be ready for the Quilty Fun Sew Along that starts on November 1st! As if you needed one more Bee in my Bonnet Row Along project to fawn over, we will be making a special sampler quilt with blocks from the book, designed by none other than Lori Holt. Here is a sneak peek at the cuteness we have in store! You will need a copy of Quilty Fun to sew along with us – and a stash that needs busting, as usual.

We hope you are excited to get your copy of Quilty Fun! What will you sew first?

  1. I love the book! I am debating either the row along quilt or the sewing machine cover. Maybe both at the same time! Looking forward to the quilty fun quilt along.

  2. Love this book and I'm so excited to get started on the projects! Great book with tons of fun exciting color and full of cheer 🙂 Looking forward to Lori's next tutorial for all of us! Sherry Smart

  3. I would start with a cover for my machine so it is nice and free from anything that might make it act up. then on to the row quilt. I have to buy the book first! I love her stuff and that barn sew along she has is really a cutie!!

  7. Darn it–now I am so sad I didn't pre-order the book. I mean, I know I am going to buy it eventually. Darn budgets…..

  8. I got my book Friday…It was like Christmas. I'm going to make the bee first for my friends wedding gift. Can't wait for the row along. It will be my first.

  9. I got my copy of this beautiful book a week or two ago…I have to say that it was packaged so very well, I could hardly believe it. It was so nice to receive my order with no crunched corners and no other damages–plus inside the plastic protective cover–awesome!! I was so impressed!! Thanks, Fat Quarter Shop for taking such care with my order. 🙂

  10. Lori's book is out of this world – she's definitely one of a kind going the extra mile to share her talent and love for quilting. Absolutely love the book; great pics; great instructions; great ideas; great organization with catchy titles and tidbits! Everyone did good! I've completed some quilts lately, but I'm becoming more organized and using my stash (heaven forbid) more! Thanks for sharing your talents!
