Patchwork Christmas Stocking Video Tutorial - Fat Quarter Shop

The Patchwork Christmas Stocking by Sherri McConnell

Hi everyone!  We are pleased as punch to present this special tutorial video to you today!  It still feels like Summer to us in Texas, but October and November have a way of zooming by, so it is high time for us to prepare for Christmas.  Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life is just one of our most favorite quilting peeps, and on her last visit to our studio, she showed us how to make the Patchwork Christmas Stocking, a classic red and white pieced Christmas stocking with a folded cuff and hanger.  Anything beyond a simple bag is outside our usual patchwork-y realm, so we loved seeing her create this stocking from start to finish.

  1. Very cute pattern. Sherri did a great video. I still enjoy the red and green for Christmas decor, but have been adding more light blue into the mix. I just might have to try a few of these stockings – thank you for the pattern.
