This month’s notion is one of Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet‘s favorites! Quilters are constantly marking their fabrics for cutting and sewing, and the Omnigrid Marking Ruler Trio does the trick. Lori uses them when making flying geese and corner square triangles, two blocks in the her new book, Quilty Fun. Just watch and see how easy it to get perfect blocks every time by marking your fabrics.
To celebrate the Notion of the Month sale, Lori designed these adorable coasters, which utilize the marking ruler. Start with a Charm Pack. Lori used Wallflowers by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew.
Cut them up and sew them into corner square triangles, using the Omnigrid Marking Ruler. It will make your cutting and piecing quick and easy.
Add some batting and binding to complete your quick coasters! How is that for a fast project?
Find the full tutorial on Lori Holt’s Bee in my Bonnet Blog and make a set of coasters yourself! Remember, the Omnigrid Marking Ruler Trio is 20% off all month long!

I love my ruler. Bought it on a whim about six years ago and use it all the time.
I went to the FQS website as soon as this landed in my inbox, but it says that you are already all out of these rulers. Bummer! Is it possible there has been a mistake?
Hi Mary! The rulers are available for purchase on the FQS website! They will ship on Nov. 7th!
