Make it Mini Book Blog Tour - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Make it Mini Book Blog Tour

Beverly McCullough has invited me to join her Make it Mini Blog Tour! Beverly McCullough’s Make it Mini Book is filled with mini quilts for every style and home. Beverly has included 13 cute designs to add some flair to your home!

In celebration of the book release, Beverly McCullough has planned some fun book giveaways, and I have one for you, too! Read on to find out more.

Love to Quilt

This patchwork quilt was calling out to me! Although I love the reds and yellows in the original design, I wanted to try making the Love to Quilt mini quilt in different colors.

Here is Beverly’s version:

And here is mine:

For my mini quilt, I thought it would be fun to try using the Farm Girl Vintage Fat Eighth Panels One and Two by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. I left out the applique elements on my version. I love how bright and colorful it turned out with the White Jade Bee Cross Stitch background!

Beverly’s book is easy to follow, with photos and detailed pattern instructions. There are even beautiful embroidery ideas provided for each design!

Finally, I finished my Love to Quilt by binding it with Stitch Cottage Daisy Chain by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs.

Make it Mini has a fantastic variety of mini quilts for all style preferences, and I can’t wait to try more! You can follow the author, Beverly McCullough, on Instagram (@flamingotoes) to see more of the quilts. Don’t forget to check out Beverly’s Blog for coverage of Make it Mini and visit all the stops on the tour!
