Make a T-Shirt Quilt with Shereece Nicole

It’s time again to embark on another exciting journey through the Quilt Goals 2023 challenge! Like a needle gliding through layers of fabric, we’re ready to explore everyone’s September quilting dreams. Now, let’s dive in to see what Shereece Nicole of Sew Hooked on Treasures made for #QuiltGoals2023!

Shereece shared, “Fat Quarter Shop asked me to participate in their Quilt Goals 2023 – a program to challenge our creative selves to do something we’ve always wanted to do, but hadn’t. When I saw t-shirt quilt on the list, I jumped all over it! My sister had sent me a box of t-shirts that I was planning to work on one day. I just didn’t know what day of which year that would be. This was just what I needed to motivate me to get it done!”

HeatnBond EZ Tee Stabilizer makes working with your t-shirts easy as can be!

“For some reason I had my mind made up that it was going to be a monumental task. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out easier than expected. Following the steps in my blog post for a basic grid-style quilt top, I hope you find making your own t-shirt quilt stressless and enjoyable. Let’s get started!”

Shereece selected some bold and colorful fabrics from Maywood Studios to match her t-shirts!

You can follow along with Shereece on her Quilt Goals journey to make a t-shirt quilt by reading her Creating T-Shirt Quilts blog post on her blog at Sew Hooked on Treasures and find everything you need to make one of your own on our t-shirt quilts supply page.
