The 2019 KONA Color of the Year feels like a winner to us! The gorgeous color is one of our favorites and even matches the color of our favorite subscription box, the Sew Sampler Box. This year’s color of the year is Splash, a beautiful aqua color we cannot keep our eyes off of and cannot wait to start using in our quilty projects! Robert Kaufman’s quilting cotton line, KONA Cottons, identifies one color every year to make their color of the year and designs free patterns and projects to display the bright color chosen to represent that year.

Aqua & coral are my two favorite colors!
I love this color
My granddaughter is begging for a quilt in the aqua and coral…her 2 favorite colors but she can’t settle on a pattern, so I’m waiting for the begging to cool off and grandma will pick the pattern!
