Happy Camper Cross Stitch Along

We can’t wait to get started with this fun new cross stitch pattern by Lori Holt of A Bee in my Bonnet called Happy Camper.

Because we know you’re going to want one of these for your sewing room, Kimberly is starting a 7-week cross stitch along with the Happy Camper pattern on Wednesday, August 14. Every Wednesday from August 14 – September 25, Kimberly will be giving her tips and tricks to making this beginner-friendly cross stitch pattern during her weekly Flosstube. We will also be giving away prizes each week so be sure to read to the bottom to see how to enter!

The Happy Camper Cross Stitch pattern has a stitch count of 109 wide x 84 high, and we stitched our sample on 25 Count Lugana. However, you can choose a cloth count and type that works for you.

The counted cross stitch pattern comes with full-color instructions, diagrams and supply list, including suggested DMC and AuriFloss colors. It is printed on durable 11” x 17” cardstock.

Materials you will need

Here is what you will need to make the Happy Camper Cross Stitch look just like the one in the photo

• Happy Camper Cross Stitch Pattern
• Cross Stitch Thread We recommend either of the following:
  • Bee Basics AuriFloss Thread Box
  • Skin tone thread of your choice
  • Oatmeal 25 Count Lugana 18″ x 18″ Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth, tea-dyed side
  • Large Vintage Trim in Aqua
  • Bake Sale 2 Aqua Gingham
  • Rustic Barn Wood Picture Frame to fit an 8″ x 10″ photo

• Cross Stitch Needles (we recommend the John James Size 26 Tapestry Petites Gold Plated Needles)
• Q Snap 11″ x 11″ Needlework Frame

For 10 Count Vintage Cloth

• Oatmeal 10 Count Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth 18″ x 18″ (If you’re stitching on 10 ct Vintage Cloth, your pattern will finish at 11″ x 8.5″)
• Cross Stitch Needles (we recommend the Tapestry Nifty Needles Tube by Lori Holt or Bohin Tapestry Needles Size 24)
• Q Snap 11″ x 17″ Needlework Frame

For 14 Count Aida

• Oatmeal 14 Count Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth 18″ x 18″  (If you’re stitching on 14ct Aida, your pattern will finish at 7.75″ x 6″)
• Cross Stitch Needles (we recommend the John James Size 26 Tapestry Petites Gold Plated Needles)
• Q Snap 11″ x 11″ Needlework Frame

Along with the live Flosstubes every Wednesday, we will be having weekly giveaways open to everyone participating. Here’s what you need to do to enter:
